This is my first blog post, ever. I was an avid diary writer as a child. The word "journalling" was not in my lexicon but "keeping a diary" was. I'm fairly certain that "blogging" is not the same as keeping a diary. Phew. I hear you say. Who really wants to read someone's most inner thoughts anyway? A bit mundane I should think. So, here we are. No, here I am. Blogging. And yet.
I implore you to be patient with me as I figure out what this blogging thing is all about. Next time (should it occur to you) to look at my blog page, I am hopeful that there will be something a little more substantial than this. Until then, I promise to not read my old diaries in the hopes that I can re-create the magic that was called "keeping a diary".
